Qatar Technology Innovation Center (QMIC) launched a new version of the “Wain” application that focuses on location-based and navigation services. This version includes many important updates directly inspired by the users’ suggestions and comments to provide a more valuable experience that suits their needs.

This release is another step towards making “Wain” application the leading and trusted local guide and road companion in Qatar for residents and tourists alike, especially for visitors to Qatar coming to the 2022 World Cup. The new improvements and updates include an improved search mechanism, and an up-to-date rich bank with thousands of locations and destinations in Qatar, a new voice for navigation instructions in Arabic in addition to improving the navigation experience, an improved and informative parking section, and a widget entitled (24X7) that provides information about open destinations 24 hours a day.
