The Embassy of the State of Qatar in El Salvador provided medical assistance to the National Children’s Hospital (Benjamin Bloom), which included medical equipment and supplies, recreational materials for children and basic health products.

HE Vice Minister of Health El Salvador Carlos Alvarenga received the aid in a ceremony, organized by the health ministry of El Salvador.

The Benjamin Bloom National Children’s Hospital is a general hospital that provides health care for children, especially patients with cancer, kidney failure and heart disease.

The Salvadoran Vice Minister of Health expressed his thanks to the State of Qatar for this donation.

Acting Charge d’Affairs at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to El Salvador Tariq Othman Al Othman affirmed that this support comes within the series of assistance provided by the State of Qatar to the Salvadoran government during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, reiterating Qatar’s keenness to continue working to support the friendly people of El Salvador and make efforts to confront the current health crisis in the country.
