Qatar to Attend International Health Conference in Cuba

Doha, November 26 (QNA) – Qatar will take part in the Health International Convention which will take place on December 3-7th, 2012 in Havana, Cuba.
 Qatar’s delegation to the meeting will be headed by HE the Minister of Public Health and Chairman of Supreme Council of Health Abdullah bin Khalid Al Qahtani.
 HE the Minister is scheduled to hold meeting with senior officials attending the event to discuss means of enhancing relations, especially in the health field.
 The Convention intends to facilitate the sharing of knowledge on the effectiveness of public health in the 21st century on the basis of sustainable policies, strategies, organization and economic foundations; evaluate the new renovation processes in primary health care and their implications for health services; consider the improvement in the population’s health rates and the strategies for the technical scientific and humanitarian training of health professionals and technicians to ensure a high scientific level in their work.
