Qatar Restates Commitment to Supporting Arab Customs Union Laws

Cairo, November 04 (QNA) -Qatar has restated its commitment to joint Arab action and stepping up efforts towards the Arab customs union which will be set up in 2015 to set the ground for the common Arab market in 2020.
    Murshid Shaheen Al Kuwari, the director of legal affairs at the Customs Authority said on the sidelines of a meeting in Cairo of the Arab customs legal commission that the laws relevant to the Arab customs union are meant to increase inter-Arab trade exchanges and set controls for Arab customs.
    Al Kuwari said the Arab customs union laws are almost complete and will be reviewed by the Arab customs union commission. (QNA)
