Qatar has delivered its response to a list of 13 demands from Saudi Arabia and its allies.

Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani, handed to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Qatar’s reply to the collective demands by the Saudi-led bloc, that have severed ties with Doha, at Bayan Palace in Kuwait.

The FM conveyed the greetings of the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to the Emir of Kuwait, as well as, his wishes for more progress and prosperity to the Kuwaiti people.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad al Thani, Adviser to the Emir, on Investment Affairs, also attended the meeting.

After the FM handed over the letter to the Kuwaiti Emir, the Kuwaiti Cabinet reviewed the efforts exerted by the Kuwaiti Emir, to resolve the Gulf crisis.

Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Information Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah al Mubarak al Sabah, said, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Khalid al Hamad al Sabah had apprised the cabinet of the results of the efforts being exerted by the Emir, to healing the Gulf rift.

Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information, elaborated on the outcome of his recent tour of the US, UK, France and Germany, whose officials appreciated the Emir’s efforts to defuse the Gulf tensions
