QATAR REFEREES SET FOR AFC ASIAN CUP U-23 MATCHES

Tashkent, Uzbekistan: A group of four international Qatar referees will officiate in matches of the AFC Asian Cup U-23 scheduled to be held from June 1 to 19 in Uzbekistan in the cities of Tashkent and Qurashi.

 

The selection of Qatar referees to participate in the Continental Championship was based the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) opting for experienced hands.

 

The referees are Abdullah Ali Al-Marri, Salman Ahmed Falahi, Saud Marri Al-Aal Al-Aal Al-Areef and Al-Ain.

 

the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2022 kicks off on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, for the first time ever in the Central Asian region.

 

Spread over a span of 19 days, the Continent’s top 16 teams will supply thrilling action over 32 matches across four venues, three of which are in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, namely the Bunyodkor Stadium – which will stage Wednesday’s opener and the final on June 19 – the Pakhtakor Stadium and Lokomotiv Stadium, as well as the Markaziy Stadium in the southern Uzbek city of Qarshi.
