Qatar Participates in Khartoum International Holy Quran Award Contest

Doha, The State of Qatar is taking part in Khartoum International Holy Quran Award contest, the Republic of Sudan, which began today with the participation of about 60 contestants from different world’s countries.
Qatar is represented by Fahd Salem Al-Jaber, a candidate of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, in the category of memorizing, recitation, and interpretation of the holy Quran.
The Ministry of Awqaf (endowments) and Islamic Affairs is keen to participate in the international competitions of the holy Quran and its recitation and achieve advanced positions.
The three top winners will respectively be awarded 40000, 30000, and 20000 dollars.
