Qatar Occupies a Leading Position in Communications Technology

Qatar comes at the top of Arthur D. Little Index as one of the leading countries in the field of deploying fifth generation mobile networks, thanks to its advanced technology infrastructure. Arthur D. Little is one of the largest and oldest international management consulting firms specializing in the latest generation of mobile phone technology.

The Company’s Leading Index of the Fifth Generation Networks, which includes more than 40 countries around the world, places Qatar alongside the United States, Australia, Switzerland, Finland and Spain, and describes it as a leader in this latest generation of mobile networks. South Korea came first, followed by Qatar at the top of the list regarding the availability of highly developed infrastructure of these networks.

Among the factors that determines the selection of countries on this index is a detailed analysis of the status of the state’s infrastructure and marketing orientation for that new generation of networks.
