Qatar Executive Breaks Operational Services Record

Qatar Executive, a subsidiary of Qatar Airways Group, has achieved a record growth in terms of the number of arriving and departing flights.

Its operational hub at Doha International Airport witnessed an exceptional year-on-year increase of 595 percent for incoming flights, and 574 percent for outgoing flights between the months of November and December 2022.

HE Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker said that Qatar Executive has achieved an impressive growth during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which demonstrates the strength of the company’s pioneering operational services that do not compromise on the highest levels of luxury to satisfy passengers.

The Group CEO stressed that this continuous development enhances passengers’ confidence in Qatar Airways, confirming the airline company’s commitment to continuous development, innovation and excellence.

Qatar Executive had upgraded its operations building in Doha in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the largest in the world and the first in the Middle East, to upgrade its services and provide a smooth travel experience.

This upgrade included aspects related to food and beverage, baggage handling service, in addition to a comprehensive training for staff members as well as the modernization of all of its facilities, and enhancing wireless Internet access and live broadcasting in the passenger terminal and on board aircrafts, so that travelers can follow the World Cup’s matches live.

Qatar Executive added three Gulfstream G650ER aircrafts, bringing the number of Qatar Executive fleet’s aircrafts of this aircraft to 15 out of its19 exceptional aircrafts, recording a growth of 25 percent in aircraft count, making Qatar Executive the world’s largest owner and operator of Gulfstream G650ER aircrafts.

Qatar Executive added two Airbus A319 aircrafts to its business class, one of which will serve for passenger transport, while the other will serve as an air ambulance.

This comes in line with environmental sustainability goals, using 100 percent sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by Qatar Executive aircrafts.

Qatar Executive provides an integrated set of its operational services for aircraft arriving and departing from Doha International Airport in Qatar.

These services include: complete trip planning, passenger processing, ground handling, and customs and passport control.
