VIENNA: Qatar on Tuesday defeated Ghana 2-1 at the Four-Nation friendly tournament at Wiener Neustadt Stadium in Austria.

Ahmed Alaaeldin gave Qatar an early lead with a strike in the second minute, with Musab Khader doubling the lead in the 26th minute. Afri Akwa pulled one back in the 68th minute for Ghana.

In other match yesterday, Morocco defeated Jamaica 3-0.

Qatar played out a 2-2 draw against Morocco in their opening match in Austria.

Al Annabi will now take on Jamaica on August 26 in their last match. The Felix Sanchez-coached side is taking part in the event as part of their FIFA World Cup preparations.

Qatar will play in Group A of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which includes Ecuador, Senegal and the Netherlands.
