Qatar Condemns Israeli Report Regarding the West Bank An Unoccupied Land

Doha, October 19 (QNA) – The State of Qatar has voiced its condemnation and denunciation to a report endorsement by Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu, considering the West Bank as an unoccupied territory. 
    The endorsement coincides with Tel Aviv issuing a plan geared for the building of 800 settlement units on the occupied palestinian lands, said a Foreign Ministry official source in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on Friday .
    The source indicated that these practices pose a violation to the international norms and infringement to the UN resolutions and rules of the international law and an attempt on part of israel to execute its plots aiming at torpedoing any endeavour for peace in the region.
    The same source called upon the United Nations and the World Community to bear their responsibilities and take the necessary measures to stop these practices.
    The Foreign Ministry’s official source also renewed Qatar’s support and stand alongside the Palestinian people in their just struggle to regain their legitimate rights foremost among which their right to self determination and establishing their independent state on the their national soil with the holy city of Al Quds as its capital.
