Qatar Charity concludes ‘Biggest Winner’

Qatar Charity (QC) concluded the first edition of ‘Biggest Winner’ an awareness, health, and entertainment program for primary school students, in a ceremony attended by the partners, the students and teachers from the participating schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

At the closing ceremony, Qatar Charity announced that 11 male and female students from different schools qualified for the first positions due to their better performance and commencement, according to the judges’ criteria. Rashid Saleh Al-Marri, Al-Dana Khalaf Al-Ruwaili, and Reem Ali Al-Buainain were declared the first, second, and third winners, respectively.

The program educated 200 overweight students from nine schools on the importance of having a healthy diet and avoiding fast food.

During the ceremony, the program’s partners, the winners, and many female teachers and coordinators were honored by Qatar Charity. Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Hajri, Director of the Programs and Community Development at Qatar Charity, presented the certificates and shields of appreciation to the honorees in appreciation of their efforts in the success of the program.

Al-Hajri expressed his delight with the program’s positive impacts on the participants in the field of health and nutrition, hoping that it would continue in the coming years to include a larger number of schools.

He thanked the supporters and partners, who were the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Naseem Healthcare, Qatar Women’s Sports Committee, and the Sport. Kha team.

“The program is of particular importance and reflects our country’s interest in raising awareness of the importance of sport and its role in the life of people, both citizens and residents,” said the President of the Qatar Women’s Sports Committee Lolwa al-Marri. She expressed her happiness at strengthening the partnership with Qatar Charity and all government and private bodies to achieve this noble goal within the framework of national duty and social responsibility.

Mr. Khalifa al-Kubaisi, the leader of the ‘Sport. Kha’ team, emphasized the importance of the program, indicating that the participation of the students was very positive and motivating, in cooperation with Qatar Charity, which always offers wonderful and innovative ideas that benefit all.

Mr. Dr Munir Ali Ibrahim, General Manager of the Naseem Healthcare group, expressed his happiness to participate in the program, noting that they provided the participants with medical advice on diet and the impact of nutrition on health. He underlined that Naseem Healthcare will continue to participate in the program during the new year.

The students said they benefited greatly from the program, which enabled them to learn and exercise physical activities and know the importance of following a healthy lifestyle. They thanked Qatar Charity for launching the program.
