Q-CERT Wraps up Training Courses on Cyber security

Qatar Computer Emergency Response Team (Q-CERT), at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC), has wrapped up two training courses covering key cybersecurity topics about the National Information Assurance Policy (NIA) to educate consulting firms about securing the national information when dealing with government entities and executing information technology projects.

Held earlier this month at Q-CERT offices, the first course hosted 15 consultancies, and was presented by professional and certified trainers in a series of training courses organized by the cybersecurity sector throughout the year, necessary for building national capacities and cadres in the cybersecurity field in line with the objectives of the national cybersecurity strategy.

The weeklong event hosted members of computer emergency response teams from Tunisia, Sudan, and Morocco. It was also attended by cybersecurity professionals and specialists from several Qatari government entities.
