Prime suspect in terrorist attack on Jordanian intelligence HQs arrested – Min.

AMMAN, June 6 (KUNA) — The Jordanian General Intelligence Department (GID) late Monday arrested the main suspect involved in the terrorist attack on its office in Baqa’a, north of Amman, according to State Minister for Media Affairs and Government Spokesman, Muhammad Momani.
The minister told the Jordanian news agency (Petra) that preliminary indications point out that the attack, which left five security personnel dead, was an individual and isolated act.
He added that investigations are still ongoing. Momani said the GID exerted major efforts that led to a speedy arrest of the prime suspect in the attack. (end) mjb.ibi
