Primary school football competitions in SOP enter last sixteen round

DOHA, Football competitions for primary school (boys) have entered the last sixteen stage at the prestigious Schools Olympic Program (SOP) at the Aspire playgrounds on Wednesday.

In the group A , Kamal Nagi and Saad bin Abdurrahman schools claimed the first and second places respectively to book spots in the 16th round. likewise Al Shrooq and Al Wikeir qualified from group B.

In group C, the first two winners are Al Mothana and Ali bin Abdulla, Group D saw Saad bin Waqas and Osthman bin Afan crusing their way to the last sixteen.

The SOP is held annually as a collaborative effort of Qatar School Sports Federation (QSSF) and Ministry of Education and Higher Education, with hundreds of student athletes competing from all over Qatar.

The SOP committee aims to spread a culture of sports throughout Qatar’s schools and to engage the entire community in active and healthy lifestyles while retaining local values and traditions.
