Policeman killed, two injured in car explosion in Russia's Dagestan – agency

MOSCOW, March 29 (KUNA) — A Russian policeman was killed and two others injured when two police cars were struck by an explosion near Makhachkala, the capital city of the Russian Republic of Dagestan on Tuesday.
Dagestan’s interior ministry confirmed the blast, Russian Interfax news agency reported.
At least one policeman has been killed and two more have been injured, Interfax reported citing preliminary data.
A police truck, which carried 15 people, had been at the epicenter of the explosion, with the bomb having been placed at the side of the road, according to the agency.
The incident happened near Makhachkala on the road to the airport, as emergency services are now working at the scene.
