PM: African countries need to work seriously to optimize use of resources

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has stressed that African countries need to work together seriously to optimize the use of the continent’s resources for achieving sustainable development and progress for their peoples.

The premier made his remarks at Cairo’s sixth high-level meeting for Presidents of Constitutional and Supreme Courts and African Constitutional Councils, which kicked off Saturday 10/09/2022.

He extended thanks to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over the organization of this meeting and keenness on cementing constructive cooperation between Egypt and Africans in all domains.

Madbouli welcomed African judges in Egypt, stressing that the meeting is part of ongoing efforts over the past years to exchange and share visions and enhance cooperation among supreme, constitutional institutions in African countries to realize their peoples’ desired aspirations of freedom, justice, equality and protection of human rights.

Africa is full of enormous natural resources that need to be optimized and preserved for the coming generations, Madbouli said.

Madbouli asserted that all African countries need to preserve natural resources amid economic and political turmoil that requires joint cooperation involving all parties.

Egypt extends its hand to help all African countries create better future for the continent in all fields.

Legal and constitutional thoughts need to be developed to curb the negative impacts of international disputes on economies of African countries, Madbouli said.

The premier voiced confidence that the sixth meeting will help realize the desired goals in Africa after the success of the previous five editions in developing joint judicial activities in the continent, wishing that the African countries can have further cooperation in different domains.
