Palestinian, Qatari, Iraqi delegations arrive in Beirut ahead of Economic Summit

Official Arab delegations and dignitaries arrived this evening at Rafic Hariri International Airport to partake in Beirut’s Arab Economic and Social Development Summit.

In this framework, A Palestinian delegation comprising Foreign Minister Riad Al Melki and Economy Minister Abir Audeh, arrived this evening at Rafic Hariri International Airport to partake in the Arab Economic Summit.

Welcoming them at the airport had been President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, represented by Caretaker Water and Energy Minister Cesar Abi Khalil, and Palestine’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ashraf Dabbour.

A Qatari delegation, comprising State Minister for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, and Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Sherif, had also arrived in Beirut today and was welcomed by President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, represented by Caretaker Water and Energy Minister Cesar Abi Khalil, and the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammed Hassan Jaber Al-Jabri.

Iraqi Economy Minister Dr Mohammed Hashem Abdel Hamid also arrived in Beirut and was welcomed by Minister Abi Khalil and Iraq’a Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Al Ameri.
