Palestinian Prime Minister Meets Chinese Official

Ramallah, – Prime Minister of Palestine Rami Hamadallah met here on Wednesday with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest political and economic developments in in addition to the difficulties facing the political process in light of Israeli intransigence.

Hamadallah said that his country counts on all the international initiative for reviving the political process according to new terms of reference and a timetable for ending the occupation.

He urged the international community to support the French initiative in order to reach an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with its capital in East Jerusalem.
