Nepalese Vice President meets UAE Ambassador.

Nepalese Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, met here today with Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi, UAE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Nepal.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.

Ambassador Al Naqbi said the UAE was keen on expanding ties of cooperation with Nepal in economic, political, investment, agriculture, hydropower and tourism fields.

Pun and Al Naqbi also reviewed topics discussed during Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari’s recent visit to the UAE.

The Nepalese Vice President said his country was looking forward to boosting cooperation with the UAE in commercial, tourism, energy and agricultural fields. He also expressed pleasure at the growing levels of relations between the two countries since the opening of the UAE embassy in Kathmandu in 2016.
