Nahyan receives Abu Dhabi Group of FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013

WAM Abu Dhabi, 25th October 2013 (WAM) — Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Chairman of General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare and head the higher organising committee for FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013, received on Friday at his palace members of the Abu Dhabi group, which is hosting the Group A matches and qualifying and final matches.

Present Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Deputy Chairman of General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare, and chairman of Abu Dhabi Group, Abdul Mohsen Al Dosari, member of the higher organising committee, Mohammd bin Badawa, Director of the Tournament, heads and coordinators of Abdu Dhabi Group’s committees, FIFA team work and heads of Italian and Brazilian teams.

Sheikh Nahyan lauded efforts made by Abu Dhabi group and other groups, which he said, they had formed a well-nit circle that seeks to raise the U.A.E.’s flag a loft before the whole world. He praised the Abu Dhabi Group for shouldering all responsibilities and obligations assigned to it.

Sheikh Nahyan expressed gratitude and thanks to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, for dedicating all resources to make the country’s hosting of the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013 a success.

He also paid tribute to H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, and Honorary Chairman of the U.A.E. Football Association, for his incessant support for the popular game.
