Brigadier Abdul Rahman Ali al-Maliki, Assistant Director of the General Directorate of Information Systems at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), said that MoI completed more than 5,000,000 transactions in 2017.

He pointed out that MoI provides electronic services to companies, including integrated services that do not need to visit the service centers, which are available around the clock and seven days a week. These services are accessible from anywhere and in six languages – Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Malayalam and Spanish.

More than 200 electronic services are available now to more than 400,000 users and more than 40,000 companies.

This came at the seminar organized by MoI on e-services provided to companies, in cooperation with Qatar Chamber, and in the presence of a large number of representatives of companies operating in Qatar, and the event was held at the Lectures Hall of Qatar Chamber.

He further pointed out that the services provided by the ministry to companies include automatic renewal of residence permits. It is a smart service provided through MoI website and Matrash2. The HR staff of companies can follow up the renewal of residence permits of individuals working with that company automatically and without submitting any manual or automated requests.
