Mohammed bin Rashid clinic in Jenin serves more than 50,000 Palestinians

WAM Jenin, 1st Jan. 2014 (WAM) — A new clinic, established by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment in partnership with the Human Appeal International (HAI), will serve more than 50,000 Palestinians living in ten villages in west Jenin, West Bank.

In his opening address, Ahmed Al Tanaiji, Head of the UAE Representative Office to the Palestinian National Authority, affirmed the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will always remain staunch supporter for the Palestinian people at international forums and their economic development.

”This support stems out the Arab and Islamic duty towards the Palestinian people,” he added.

Palestinian Health Minister Jawad Awad conveyed gratitude and thanks of Palestinian prime minister to the UAE for its efforts to support the health and social sectors in Palestine.

He said that Palestinian people still need more assistance under the current difficult economic hardships.

Ibrahim Rashid, Head of HAI Office in West Bank, said the medical centre, named after His Highnes Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Matoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, had generated 2000 job opportunities to the Palestinians.
