Mohamed bin Zayed leaves Egypt

WAM CAIRO, 2nd September, 2013 (WAM) — His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, left Cairo this morning after a fraternal visit to Egypt, where he discussed with its leaders the fraternal ties and joint cooperation between the UAE and Egypt.

At his arrival at the VIP lounge at Cairo International Airport, Sheikh Mohamed met General Abdel Fattah El Sisi, First Deputy Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production of Egypt. They exchanged cordial talks.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed his gratitude for the hospitality accorded to him and his accompanying delegation. He also expressed his pleasure at meeting the Egyptian leaders with whom he exchanged views over a number of issues of mutual interest. He wished Egypt and its people well .

On his part, General El-Sisi expressed Egypt’s gratitude to the UAE leaders and their supportive stance for the Egyptian people, stressing that the visit reflects the depth of relations between the two countries, and has further pushed forward joint cooperation between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohamed and the delegation were seen off by General El- Sisi, Dr. Ziad Bahaa Eddin, Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt and Minister of International Cooperation, and senior Egyptian officials.

Earlier during the visit, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi met Interim Egyptian President, Adly Mansour, Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Hazem El-Beblawi, General El-Sisi and a number of senior army commanders.
