MOEHE Opens Registration for New Students with Disabilities

The Department of Special Education and Gifted Education in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announced the start of receiving applications for new students with disabilities for the academic year 2019/2020, for cases of cerebral edema and cerebral palsy associated with mental disability and simple mental disabilities based on the scale of intelligence according to the Stanford scale. The degree of disability is between 55-69, as well as intermediate mental disabilities that determine the degree of disability between 40-54, along with the interstitial class, the so-called slow learners (dyslexia) and their intelligence scale ranges from 84-70 on the Stanford scale.

MOEHE added that the registration is also available to autism spectrum disorders and students with motor or physical disabilities, mental disability syndromes such as Down Syndrome, Bradwell Fisch, and other cases of cochlear implantation and students who have an above-average hearing impairment.
