MOEHE Announces Vacancies for Qatari and Non-Qatari Teachers from Within Qatar

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has stated its willingness to appoint a number of Qatari and non-Qatari male and female teachers from within Qatar and from those who are qualified to work in public schools during the upcoming academic year (2021-2022) for three educational stages: (primary, preparatory and secondary). This is for the following specializations: Sharia sciences (male), sociology (male), Arabic language (male and female), computer (male and female), mathematics (male), visual arts (male and female), general sciences (male), special education (male and female), physics (female) and sport education (male).

Qataris applying for teacher jobs are required to be as follows: An applicant must have a BA degree in required specialization from the college of education. An applicant must have a BA degree in required specialization from a college other than the college of education with (good) general rating as a minimum. Moreover, Qatari applicants must register in (Kawader) National E-Recruitment Portal.

As regards requirements for non-Qataris applying for teacher jobs, they are as follows: An applicant must have a full-time BA degree in required specialization with (very good) general rating as a minimum. As for graduates of the College of Education – Qatar University (QU), an applicant must have (good) general rating as a minimum. Moreover, an applicant must have work experience that must not be less than five years in the required job field in schools. If not, he/she must have experience that must not be less than three years if an applicant is a graduate from the college of education or has an educational qualification, as well as graduates of colleges other than the College of Education – QU and graduates of local universities.
