Doha, – The Ministry of Municipality and Environment launched the electronic deposit certificate service, which is provided the Ministry of Finance’s office of lease dispute resolution committees through the website Rashid Mohsen Al Nedeela, head of the office of lease dispute resolution committees, said the service is being implemented in cooperation with the information systems department at the ministry and is an official certificate issued by the office and mentions the name of the tenant, the lessor, the amount of the rent, the term of the rent, and the date of deposit.

He said that individuals, institutions and companies benefit from the service but added that it is currently available for individuals, while companies must delegate an employee to endorse their details at the office before being able to access the service electronically. Users must register online first at Hukoomi website to access the service.

The head of the office of lease dispute resolution committees added that the service is repeatedly requested whether to be submitted to the Supreme Judiciary Council or the Public Prosecution, or by some who want to learn about the deposits made for them, noting that that the service is currently free of charge.

Two more electronic services will be added to allow requesting a lease dispute and requesting deposit payment. (QNA)
