The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MoFAIC, today announced the opening of a new office in Georgia to support UAE nationals in the country.
The ministry called on UAE nationals in Georgia, who require consular or passport services, to visit the new office located at the Biltmore Hotel in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. MoFAIC also confirmed that Obaid Khalifa Bakheet Al Kaabi has been appointed as the Acting UAE Ambassador to Georgia.
The ministry said that the launch of the office reflects the desire of the leadership of both countries to strengthen their cooperation and partnership, adding that this decision will strengthen their relations, which has witnessed considerable developments in various fields.
The UAE and Georgia are linked by exceptional and historic relations that are stable and built on the spirit of mutual understanding and respect, as well as a desire to jointly develop and improve these relations, reflecting the ambitions of their leadership.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation called on the UAE’s nationals travelling outside the country to register via its Twajudi Service through the Ministry’s website, or the smart application, ‘UAE MoFA’, or by contacting the ministry’s customer service centre.
