Doha, – The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced providing all its e-services through a smartphone application in order to develop its services and to work in line with the governments’ smart projects.

HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi had launched the “Education” application during the Education Conference, which the ministry held last month at Qatar National Convention Centre.

The application includes information on students’ attendance, absence, homework, grades, conduct, in addition to notifications and announcements. The application also features communication with teachers, performance assessments of teaches, their financial advances, salaries and leave. Websites of schools, universities, institutions, and information on private schools and other information that covers all aspects of education will be available on the application.

The beta version of the application has been launched and constant updates will be made. The application also provides a number of ministry services to users such as applying for scholarships, private school and educational institutions licenses where all services will be speedy and of high quality. The application is useful to all parties including students, teachers, parents and employees.

Users are able to download the application through Google Play, Apple Store, and Windows Store. (QNA)
