Min. Essa conveys His Highness Amir's congratulations to high school graduates

KUWAIT, June 5 (KUNA) — Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Bader Al-Essa conveyed on Sunday congratulations of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to high school graduates.
Speaking at a news conference following the announcement of high school diplomas’ recipients, the minister said about 100 seats at Kuwait University are allocated to non-Kuwaiti students, who have a GPA of 90 percent and more.
He congratulated both male and female students, wishing them further success during their study in university.
He, meanwhile, denied what has been posted on social media that male and female students will share same University’s classrooms in the upcoming year, even though  a legislation was previously announced by constitutional court to separate male and female students in classrooms. He noted that this matter would be considered later.
Undersecretary of Education’s Ministry Haitham Al-Athari also congratulated all students on their success. (end) mrf.tab.hm
