Marriage Fund underlines importance of “E’dad” programme in promoting family awareness

WAM DUBAI, 27th August, 2013 (WAM) — Habiba Essa Al Hosni, Acting General Manager of the Marriage Fund, has met with a number of advisors and specialists in family affairs who put together awareness courses provided by the Fund for beneficiaries of the marriage grant under its E’dad (preparation) programme.

Habiba Al Hosni commended the sincere efforts made by advisers to disseminate awareness to couples and listened to the observations of the lecturers of the programme in terms of youth turnout and how they benefit from the courses, the details of the organisation, coordination and the views of the lecturers on upgrading the programme.

The programme courses aim to prepare young couples to build a safe and stable family, and are mandatory for beneficiaries of the grant provided by the Marriage Fund. In addition, the courses are available to others who wish to apply for this programme from various quarters, including already married couples.

The E’dad courses deal with discussions in all aspects of life: religious, psychological and social, family and economic.
