Launch of “Tamreen” Guide to Introduce Students to the 2022 World Cup

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) yesterday, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) to announce the establishment of a partnership aimed at cooperation and coordination between the two parties to launch an online educational guide entitled Tamreen. This collaboration reflects the keenness of the Ministry and the SC to introduce school students in Qatar and enrich their knowledge of Qatar’s hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

The MoU was signed by Fawziya Al Khater, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the MOEHE and Nasser AL Khater, CEO of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Tamreen guide is a rich e-platform with tools, educational materials and information resources contribute in developing school students’ skills in core curriculum areas, including mathematics, science, geography, art, Arabic, and English language, using educational tools linked to Qatar championship 2022. This pioneering program aims to enhance the passion and enthusiasm of the youth generation for the world’s largest football event, and introduce them to the various features of the Qatar 2022 Championship and its accompanying SC programs. This initiative will contribute to enhancing the spirit of belonging and citizenship among young people and encourages them to be active members in the preparation and hosting efforts.
