MANAMA, March 15 (KUNA) — Dean of Diplomatic Corps in Bahrain, Kuwait Ambassador Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said on Tuesday that Kuwaiti media had a strong presence in the 14th Gulf Radio and Television Festival.
“Kuwait that has been prominent in the media and the artistic fields and have contributed significantly to the establishment of the GCC television joint production programs,” Sheikh Azzam added during his visit to the Kuwaiti pavilion at the festival.
He also said Kuwaitis honored in the festival had a significant contribution to serving Kuwait’s image in media fields.
During the opening ceremony, late on Monday, a number of eminent personalities were honored. They included Kuwaiti radio broadcaster Aisha Saleh Al-Yahya, actor Saad Al-Faraj and former football player in Kuwait national team Abdulaziz Al-Anbari. (end) mga.ha
