Kuwaiti lawmakers conclude visit to Cameroon

CAIRO, March 25 (KUNA) — The Kuwaiti parliamentary friendship group concluded on Friday its visit to Cameroon, having greatly added to the growing ties of the two nations.
In the course of the visit, the group of Kuwaiti lawmakers held talks in Cameroon’s capital city of Yaounde with the prime minister of Cameroon Philأ©mon Yang with emphasis on political and parliamentary issues.
In their meeting with Chairman of the Cameroon National Assembly Djibril Cavaye Yeguie, the chairman noted Kuwait’s role in supporting African countries, in particular financing growth and development projects in them.
Moreover, Cameroon’s Senate President Marcel Niat Njifenji praised Kuwait’s contributions to development in his country, so did Cameroonian Minister of Finance Alamine Ousmane Mey who praised Kuwait’s assistance to his country in the latter’s fight against terrorism.
The Kuwaiti lawmakers thrashed out with their Cameroonian counterparts means of enhancing bilateral relations and augmenting parliamentary ties.
The Kuwaiti delegation includes MPs Saud Al-Heraiji, Dr. Ahmad Mati’e Al-Azemi, Hamdan Salem Al-Azemi and Mohammad Marwi Al-Hadiya. (Pick up previous) msh.ajs
