KUWAIT WELCOMES QATAR’S CALL FOR OIL MEETING IN APR Last Updated: 2016-

KUWAIT, Mar 17 – Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister and Acting Oil Minister, Anas Al-Saleh, on Wednesday, welcomed an invitation from Qatari Oil Minister, Mohammad Al-Sada, for OPEC and non-OPEC producers to attend a meeting due in Doha on Apr 17.

The meeting aims to complete earlier consultations on efforts to ensure stable oil markets and oil prices.

The Kuwaiti minister told the Qatari minister that, Kuwait’s participation in the meeting reflects its support to producers’ efforts to stabilise the global oil market.

Al-Sada, whose country holds the current rotating presidency of the OPEC, announced in Doha earlier on Wednesday, that, his country would host a meeting on Apr 17, to find an effective way to ensure a stable oil market
