Kuwait strongly condemns bombing in E. Saudi Arabia

KUWAIT, Jan 29 (KUNA) — The State of Kuwait on Friday expressed robust condemnation of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in Al-Ahsa governorate in eastern Saudi Arabia earlier today.
A Foreign Ministry official source affirmed in a statement support for the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and backing for measures that have been taken by the Saudi authorities to protect the country’s security and stability.
The official source re-affirmed Kuwait’s principled stance, renouncing all forms of terrorism, prayed for the victims’ souls and wished the injured quick recovery.
Saudi Ministry of Interior announced earlier today that casualty toll of the bombing climbed to four deaths, adding that 18 people including a security man were wounded in the incident. (end) rk
