Kuwait pioneering in promoting children media, literature – KUNA editor

SFAX, Tunisia, March 16 (KUNA) — Kuwait has been pioneering in promoting children literature, media and culture, said Managing Editor of KUNA Junior Magazine, a special Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) publication for children, Dr. Tareq Al-Bakri.
Writing for children is neither a profession nor job but rather a constructive educational sentiment, he said in a symposium held in Sfax Children Books Exhibition in Tunisia.
Al-Bakri underlined children literature is greatly beneficial in resolving many problems in the Arab world as it educates, inculcate and raise awareness such an important segment of the society.
He lauded KUNA’s initiative to launch a special publication for children. He noted that KUNA prints and distribute up to 40,000 copies of each KUNA Junior’s editions.
The first edition of KUNA Junior magazine was published in September 2014 and the latest was published in February 2016. (end) tab.ksj.ibi
