Kuwait oil price up 15 cents to USD 29.52 pb

KUWAIT, March 3 (KUNA) — Kuwait oil price went up by 15 cents to USD 29.52 per barrel Wednesday compared to USD 29.37 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Thursday.
In the global market, the price went up due to expectations that oil producers will freeze production at January levels despite the increase in the American crude reserves which reached 518 million barrels last week.
The price of the Brent mix increased yesterday by 12 cents to reach USD 36.93 per barrel. The American crude followed pursuit, going up by 26 cents to USD 34.66 pb. (end) osj.gta
