Kuwait Foreign Ministry condemns bombings in Lebanon

KUWAIT, June 28 (KUNA) — The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday expressed strong condemnation of the terrorist blasts that occurred close to the Lebanese custom checkpoint in the border town of Al-Qaa, leaving a number of people dead or wounded.
A ministry official source expressed the State of Kuwait siding alongside Lebanon in facing such terrorist operations and support for all measures authorities will take to deal with the situation.
He re-affirmed Kuwait’s unwavering stand against terrorism and support for the international community’s efforts against it.
The official source expressed deep sorrow to families of the victims, the government and the people of Lebanon and wished the injured quick recovery. (end) ysa.rk
