KUWAIT, Aug 1 (KUNA) — Kuwait Petrochemical Industries Company (KPIC) has earned the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ (ROSPA) health and safety award, in addition to its fleet safety award for the year 2016, the company announced Monday.
These prestigious awards are the results of the company’s commitment to health and safety standards, KPIC official Mijbil Al-Shimmeri said in a press statement.
Moreover, he applauded company employees for abiding by safety laws, saying the company has a set a precedent in that regard.
For almost a century, ROSPA has been working to change both legislation and attitudes surrounding accidents in all parts of the globe.
