Kerry says IS to be eliminated

BRUSSELS, March 25 (KUNA) — Visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry met Friday Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and expressed solidarity with Belgium in the aftermath of attacks at Brussels airport and Maalbeek metro on Tuesday that killed over 30 people.
“We have a message for those who inspired or carried out those attacks, here, or in Paris, or Ankara or elsewhere,” Kerry told reporters after the meeting and stressed that the so-called Islamic State (IS) will be finished.
“We will not be intimidated. We will not be deterred and we will come back with greater resolve and greater strength and we will not rest till we have eliminated your nihilistic beliefs and cowardice from the face of this earth,” he added. (end) nk.mt
