Reporters from Qatari media means operating in Beirut honored Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali bin Hamad al-Marri, at his office in the Embassy, upon the end of his five-year diplomatic mission in the country, with the participation of a crowd of journalists from Lebanon institutions.

Thanking the Lebanese press in general, the Ambassador made a special mention to the Ministry of Information, represented by the National News Agency, “for its permanent cooperation with the Embassy and full coverage of its activities.”

He also heaped praise on the efforts and performance of the Qatari reporters, who not only covered the Embassy’s activities, but also conveyed “everything that is relevant to the state of Qatar at the humanitarian, political and diplomatic levels.”

Moreover, the Ambassador thanked President Michel Aoun, House Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs represented by Minister Gebran Bassil, for “having facilitated his diplomatic mission, and for their permanent cooperation with the Embassy of Qatar to overcome the hurdles it had at times encountered.”

Furthermore, the diplomat did not fail to thank the Lebanese party heads, lawmakers, and spiritual leaders.

It is to note that al-Marri has been appointed as Ambassador to Albania.
