Jordan's declares northern, northern eastern borders closed military zones

AMMAN, June 21 (KUNA) — Hours after the bombing attack on a border post, Jordan declared the northern and northern eastern borders closed military zones.
The Jordanian news agency (Petra) reported that Advisor for Military Affairs and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mashaal Mohammad Zaben issued an order declaring the northern and northeastern borders as closed military zones as of today, according to a military source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
The sources said that any movement of vehicles or individuals in the military zones without pre-coordination will be firmly dealt with as enemy targets.
Earlier, six Jordanians, including four borders guards and one public security personnel and a civil defense member, were killed in a car bombing attack on the border with Syria. (end) ab.ibi
