ROME, June 7 (KUNA) — Italian shooter Carlo Angelantoni seized the first place in His Highness the Amir Grand Prix for shooting, which concluded its second round on Monday.
Angelantoni was presented with the tournament’s cup by President of the Italian Shooting Federation Luciano Rossi, in a ceremony held at Umbriaverde facility in Todi city, central Italy. The event was also attended by representative of Kuwaiti Ambassador to Italy Khaled Al-Khurainij.
The winner expressed his happiness over winning the competition, adding that he is looking forward to take part in the upcoming editions of the grand prix in Italy and Kuwait. He also noted that Kuwait has a high level of expertise in the shooting sport.
His Highness the Amir Gran Prix was held for the second year with the participation of over 300 international shooters. The event was sponsored by the Italian Shooting Federation and Kuwait Petroleum Italia (Q8), in cooperation with Kuwait Embassy.(end) mn.am
