Israeli wounded in Jerusalem knife attack

RAMALLAH, Jan 30 (KUNA) — An Israeli national was wounded in a knife attack in occupied Jerusalem city, media sources reported on Saturday.
The wounded, 17, was stabbed by juveniles, the sources said, adding that police have set up security checkpoints to nab the perpetrators, who remain at large.
It is still unknown who carried out the attack.
There have been near daily Palestinian stabbing attacks, killing 26 Israelis in a wave of violence that shows no sign of abating.
At least 149 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire, 104 of them identified by Israel as attackers. (end) nk.nam
