Iraqi Prime Minister Stresses Keenness to Develop Relations with Pakistan

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al Sudani met Wednesday in Baghdad Pakistani Minister of Interior Rana Sanaullah Khan.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the security field, exchange intelligence information, and cooperate in combating terrorism, drugs and organized crime.

Al Sudani affirmed Iraq’s keenness to develop relations with Pakistan in various fields, while the Pakistani minister expressed his country’s desire to expand economic partnership relations with Iraq.

On the other hand, Iraqi Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al Shammari announced the formation of a joint committee with Pakistan to combat terrorism. (QNA)
