Iraqi parl't speaker lauds solid Iraqi-Saudi relations

RIYADH, March 15 (KUNA) — Speaker of Iraqi Parliament Dr. Salim bin Abdullah Al-Jubouri hailed Tuesday the strong relations between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a press statement, following a meeting with the Speaker of Saudi Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Al-Jubouri said that his talks with Saudi leaders have focused on cementing bilateral relations and cooperation.
He emphasized that the need for effective cooperation between the two Arab countries to counter the growing threats of terrorism and sectarianism.
“We had the honor to meet with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the presence of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of defense to discuss the nature of bilateral relations,” he said.
