Iraq: 16 ISIS Militants Killed in Police Operations

Baghdad, Sixteen ISIS militants were killed Tuesday in operations carried out by federal Iraqi security forces against the group in Mosul and Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The federal police moved into several neighborhoods of Mosul and destroyed four car bombs, while in Kirkuk three ISIS militants were killed when explosives went off at a workshop in the province’s industrial quarter.
Meanwhile, Baghdad operations bureau announced that it had found arms caches in different areas of the capital, saying that security personnel eliminated five targets of the group and a hiding place in northern Baghdad, killing a number of militants in the process.
