Iran, Pakistan seek closer coop.

ISLAMABAD, March 25 (KUNA) — Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and visiting Iranian President Hassan Rouhani have held wide ranging delegation-level talks in federal capital Islamabad on Friday.
The talks covered all aspects of bilateral relations, the regional situation, and the global issues of mutual interest, according to an official release.
The two leaders first had one on one meeting with each other. The talks focused on strengthening economic and trade ties between the two brotherly countries. Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Finance Minister, Water and Power Minister, Petroleum Minister and other senior officials attended the meeting.
Earlier in the day, Sharif received the Iranian President who is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers, senior officials and businessmen. (end)
