Interior Ministry says preparations for Hala February 2016 completed

KUWAIT, Jan 28 (KUNA) — The Interior Ministry announced on Thursday taking all security and traffic measures coinciding with the start of the Hala February 2016 celebrations.
The Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior said in a press statement that all preparations to host this festival have been completed.
The festival will kick off tomorrow.
The statement added that the traffic plan includes closure of the Arabian Gulf Road starting from the 3rd ring road junction till the British Embassy from the sea side as of 1:00 a.m Friday.
It said that the same road would be closed starting from the 3rd ring road junction till the British Embassy in both directions as of 9:00 a.m Friday.
It pointed out that public parkings would be facilitated for the public including the free parking of Engineers Society, a dirt yard nearby, Embassies zone parking, Martyrs Hall, Daiya Coo-op, the yard oppositte of Sharq police station and the dirt yard opposite of Souq Sharq.
Persons with special needs can use the parking spaces opposite of the Engineers Society, it concluded.(end) hmd.jk.tg
